Powder Mountain Sept 2008-Dinosaur Museum

We spent a week at Powder Mountain--hiking, swimming, playing mini golf, going to Lagoon, and visiting the Dinosaur Museum. Luan and Grandma Simmons took the kids for a couple of nights so Nick and I even got a couple of days alone. It was nice to spend time with the family and alone with each other. It reminded me how life sometimes gets so busy that it's important to take some deep breaths, relax, and enjoy each other.

Lagoon 2008

Luan took the Spencer Family to Lagoon. We had a blast riding all of the rides and hanging out with the family. I was surprised how many rides Jaydyn and Alayna could go on. They both are quite the adrenaline junkies. Jaydyn rode Wicked, Colosos, all the roller coasters and she just kept saying, "Let's go again!" Alayna looked a little shocked a couple of times especially on Tidal Wave, but she just kept on smiling.

Alexander Lake August 2008

We had a great time at Alexander Lake. Nick, Jaydyn, Alayna, Seth, Chad, Austin and me went camping. Nick and Chad spent most of their time chopping wood and shooting their bows. The kids and I spent most of our time playing card games and walking around the lake. Here's some shots of our weekend.

St George 2008

Darrel and Rose had everyone down to St George. It was nice to see everyone!

July 4th Weekend

July 4th was a busy weekend. We had a barbecue at our house Friday night. Saturday we went up to Smith & Morehouse to my Uncle Richard and Aunt Melody's cabin. That night we went to Luan's and had dinner and lit fireworks.

Park City June 2008

Park City is always a great place to get away without having to go very far. We spent a week hiking, shopping, swimming, and eating. Jaydyn & Alayna loved the Alpine slide and the Coaster. I recommend the coaster. Fun stuff. We had a going away party for Josh. This is the last time we saw him before he left for Texas. Love you Josh!

Lake Tahoe

We just got back from beautiful Lake Tahoe. We spent a week there and had a blast enjoying our time as a family and the amazing scenery. Here are some shots. Hopefully some of them do justice.
